The Recent Announcement by the Ministry
The Minister of Interior has announced that,
All international flights have been suspended for another week as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of the citizens and Saudi expats working in Saudi Arabia. However, the GACA has allowed Saudi expats to travel outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia starting from December 27, 2020.

What Precautionary Measures are Required for those who have Returned from European Countries?
Everyone who has returned to the Kingdom after 8th December from any of those countries where the new strain has appeared is required to quarantine themselves for two (2) weeks from the date of arrival and they must undergo a test for Coronavirus during their self-isolation period. And citizens who have returned from or transited within the last three (3) months through any of those high-risk countries are also required to undergo a test. What about the Foreign Flights that are Currently in the Kingdom?
All commercial international flights are suspended temporarily in the country. However, the foreign flights that are currently in the Kingdom are allowed to return.
