Ministry of Hajj Announces to Open Hajj Application for Saudi Expats Starting from Today

Due to the pandemic, the Ministry of Hajj & Umrah has decided to allow only selected nationalities for Hajj 2020. The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has said that registration for Hajj of Saudi citizens and Saudi expats will be done through the ministry’s ‘E-Gate’.

What will be the Procedure?

It should be noted that after the announcement of the Saudi Government to allow a limited number of citizens and Saudi expats of different countries to perform Hajj, it is being asked what will be the procedure. According to the local newspaper, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has said in its statement that the decision to register Hajj through the ministry’s ‘E-Gate’ will be formally announced as soon as it is decided. The Joint National Platform has clarified the procedure for issuing and booking Hajj permits and said that this procedure has to be adopted for issuing Hajj permits to Saudis and expatriates. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has also stated on the official website that the general public can avail various facilities through the ministry’s E-Gate, E-Gate is providing services.
