29 crimes not covered under Ramadan pardon

During the holy month of Ramadan, 29 categories of crimes in Saudi Arabia will not be pardoned, according to principles and directives for annual pardon.

Followings are the most renowned offenses not covered under Ramadan pardon are cases involving the followings:

1). State Security	2). Murder	3). Black Magic
4). Blasphemy	5). Human Trafficking	6). Sorcery
7). Torturing Children	8). Cheating	9). Money Laundering
10). Arms Smuggling	11). Bribery	12). Financial Corruption
13). Forging currencies	14). Stock market crimes	15). Incitement Impacting National cohesion
16). Desecration of the Holy Qur’an.	17). Issuing bad checks.	18). Conning and deception.
19). Military crimes when in uniform.	20). Cover-up (tasattur).	21). Illicit real estate investments.
22). Violence against people with special needs.	23). Publishing secret documents and information.	24). Disclosing openly one’s intention to commit sins.
25). Obtaining Saudi citizenship through illegal means.	26). Sheltering people wanted for security offenses.	27). Forging of title deeds, documents, and rubber stamps.
28). Assault on govt. officials or staff, doctors, nurses, and paramedics.	29). cases involving Ruqya offenses (offenses concerning treatment by a recitation of verses of the Holy Qur’an) and those falsely claiming to be Ruqaat.

Offenses not covered under pardon

Release of Saudi prisoners and Saudi expats

Saudi prisoners, who fulfill the conditions for a pardon, should be released immediately. Saudi expat prisoners, who have completed their prison terms or have been pardoned, but cannot be released unless they settle their fines, can be pardoned for fines not exceeding SR. 500,000.
