Story of the Film
The film narrates the story of an aspiring Saudi filmmaker named as Omar Nizar who finally decide to produce a film on his native city, Jeddah. After he decides to produce a film on his native city Jeddah, he soon realizes that he doesn’t know it as well as he thought earlier. The film depicts Nizar’s journey of struggle and discovery, which begins upon an encounter with Farid Lutfy, a 70-year-old cinematographer who left behind his cinematic career to run an antique shop. “It’s a purely a Jeddawi film to the core. Since, not much expertise related to post-production is not available in Saudi Arabia, therefore, the post-production was outsourced and executed in Egypt but all the creative work is purely Saudi.
