What is the Decision made Against the Spread of COVID-19
People who are inoculated against COVID-19 with a vaccine approved in Saudi Arabia will only be allowed to enter any government or private establishment or commercial facilities across the Kingdom, starting from August 01st, 2021. In a Statement, They Informed the Public that
From August 01st, 2021, based on recommendations made by the competent authorities, the Coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccinated status will be mandatory for the following:
- Entry for all economic, commercial, cultural, entertainment, or sporting activities.
- Entry for all cultural, scientific, social or entertainment events.
- Entering into all governmental or private establishments.
- Entry into all governmental or private educational facilities.
- Use of public transportation.
- They also announced that all teachers and faculty members will return to schools in person next semester.

They stressed the need for everyone to adhere to the precautionary and preventive measures, and not to be complacent in the application of health requirements, including social distancing, wearing a face mask, and continuously disinfecting hands, and compliance with the approved protocols. And explained that all procedures and measures are subject to continuous evaluation by the Public Health Authority (Weqaya), according to the developments in the epidemiological situation.
